Me, a self analysis
God made me, a daughter, a mother, a sister, a friend; and animated,
Is this my single purpose, and the entirety of me?
I experience inspiration and an increasing sense of diversity,
In my understanding of growing older I experience a youthful fervor for living,
In name I call for further significance.
Daughter leaves me with a sense of being less than perfect,
Mother inspires me to greater depths of understanding and passion,
Sister reminds me of relationships which are ever changing,
Friend leads me to gaining more experience of connecting with others,
In name yet a mounting hunger designed for connection.
In the lifting of a manuscript, I escape actuality, in the pages of mystery, passion and others lives,
In consequence, I gain a thirst for more in my own.
Photography a passion I believe that comes from all components of my person,
When I hold a camera I feel delight, whether in environment, character or bond,
I immediately feel alive.
Does it come from my heritage, my genes? My dad took pictures, I was always captivated.
My daughter has a keen eye, improved on mine,
She stirs me to expand my muse and awareness.
But I desire, and continue to exist for other than this,
I am conscious during my writing, my thinking, my teaching for furtherance in search,
God‘s presence is truth in all parts of my longing in name, is who I am.
Without Him I have no passion, no truth, no word, no effect, no strength,
In my weakness He makes me strong, in hope he gives me meaning,
In whole trust, confidence and assurance that I will become who he created me to be.
Before time began, before sun touched the earth he knew my name,
He knows the amount of hairs on my head, He designed my personality,
He hones my character further resembling His,
His plans are for my excellence, and He is blessed by my obedience,
He loves me with a faultless love and lets me discover an overwhelming truth,
I am the apple of His eye,
This to me is more than I can comprehend and will take a lifetime to understand,
But I have all eternity to be who He created.
This earth holds a shadow of my upcoming hope, in His return completeness will become,
A warrior princess is my striving, a bride for my bridegroom,
Presently clothed in righteousness and dressed for battle,
Holding my shield of faith and sword of the Spirit,
In complete and vigilant contemplation I have establish His presence to be my pleasure,
In truth His presence develops my unity all that I can hope to be,
In name I am His
